Who is the Holy Spirit? To be filled with the Holy Spirit and to live by the Holy Spirit
Description
Before Jesus ascended into heaven, he gave his disciples the supreme commandment. “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, so the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19,20) We know that this is a Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ. In these words, Jesus mentioned the triune God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, and commanded baptism in the name of the triune God. Generally, we learn, know, and have a personal relationship with God (God the Father) through the words of the Old Testament, including Genesis, and Jesus (God the Son), through the Gospels. Compared to this, the study of the Holy Spirit is relatively lacking. Therefore, it is possible to lead a life of faith without knowing God the Holy Spirit well, misunderstanding God the Holy Spirit, or missing the amazing spiritual blessings God the Holy Spirit gives. This is not what God wants.
Course Objectives
We want to know God the Holy Spirit rightly while studying the Bible with the theme of “Who is the Holy Spirit?” Also, we want to receive the amazing spiritual blessings given through the Holy Spirit as our own. Everyone knows that the apostles in the Gospels and the apostles in Acts are very different in terms of their character, maturity, life content, ministry content, and exercise of power. The most important factor that brought about this difference is that the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit and lived by the Holy Spirit during their lifetime. The purpose of this course is to know God the Holy Spirit correctly, have a right relationship with Him, receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit, and live according to the Holy Spirit so that we too can grow into people like the apostles in Acts.
