Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Part 1)

Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (Part 1) course image
Description

You can’t be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. In the course, you will unpack core biblical principles to guide you into an experience of lasting, beneath-the-surface transformation in your relationship with Christ. Join us for a powerful journey that will walk you through a door, forever changing the way you love God, others, and yourself. This course will mainly utilize the materials developed by Peter and Geri Scazzero. The course is a 2-part series. Each part runs for 5 weeks with a live online session each week. Each online session will last about 2 hours and include discussion, video clips, Bible study, and reflective and skill building activities.

Course Objectives

1. Introducing some of the theology, language, and concepts in emotional health and contemplative spirituality, which are essential for discipleship over the long haul. 2. Forming better rhythms of work and rest in discipleship and deepening reflective practices for beneath the surface transformation. 3. Creating space to dialogue, share, listen, affirm, and guide each other as we grow and mature in Christ in each of our local contexts.
