My Friend Is Suffering from Addiction. How Can I Help?
Description
Addiction touches nearly every life either directly or watching a loved one struggle. As Christians facing this complex challenge, we often cobble together understanding from various sources: Scripture verses, AA principles, and psychological theories. Some view addiction purely as a disease, while others reduce it to a simple matter of sinful choices, demanding that people "just stop." The reality is both more nuanced and more hopeful. This seminar explores addiction's dual nature - its physical and spiritual dimensions - while emphasizing how the redemptive power of Christ offers genuine hope for recovery.
