This course equips short-term mission participants with an understanding of biblical missions, practical principles for cross-cultural evangelism, and tools for personal spiritual growth. Participants will explore God’s heart for the nations, learn to share the gospel effectively in diverse cultural contexts, and prepare for the logistical, emotional, and spiritual demands of mission work

Course Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will:

  1. Understand the biblical foundation of missions.
  2. Develop confidence in sharing the gospel and personal testimonies effectively.
  3. Enhance cultural awareness and learn practical strategies for engaging cross-culturally.
  4. Prepare for the spiritual, emotional, and logistical aspects of mission trips.

  • Holding the Rope: Short-Term Missions, Long-Term Impact – Clint Archer (William Carey Library)
  • Additional instructor-provided materials, including articles, podcasts, and video excerpts tailored to the course content.

Course Evaluation

Student performance will be evaluated based on attendance, course participation, and the weekly assignments.
