Genesis from a Scientific Perspective

Genesis from a Scientific Perspective course image
Description

This seminar will focus on Genesis 1 and highlight a plausible harmony of a literal interpretation of the biblical creation account and modern scientific data. It will address questions such as the date of humanity's origin and Noah's flood. Students will learn how, far from being an obstacle to faith, the Genesis creation account strengthens the case for the reliability of the Bible.

Course Objectives

  • Strengthen students in their faith in God and the reliability of Scripture
  • Encourage students to share their faith with the confidence that there are good answers to questions that skeptics raise
  • Equip students to engage with unbelievers, presenting biblical data as evidence for the reliability of the Bible and Christianity
